Children playing in the snow holly berries mistletoe. Quiet moments I recall I love Christmas most of all. It’s that special time of year seeing family far and near. May this feeling never end I love Christmas with a friend. Haul our the holly, put up the tree before my spirit falls again; Fill up the stocking, I may be rushing things, but deck the halls again now. For we need a little Christmas, right this very minute, candles in the window; carols at the spinet. Yes, we need a little Christmas, right this very minute, It hasn’t snowed a single flurry, but Santa dear, we’re in a hurry. So climb down the chimney, turn on the brightest string of lights I’ve ever seen; Slice up the fruitcake, it’s time we hung some tinsel on that evergreen bough. For I’ve grown a little leaner, grown a little colder, grown a little sadder, grown a little older. And I need a little angel, sitting on my shoulder, we need a little Christmas now! We need a little Christmas now! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go; Take a look in the five and ten, glistening once again, with candy canes and silver lanes aglow. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, toys in every store. But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be, on your own front door. A pair of hop-along boots and a pistol that shoots is the wish of Barney and Ben; Dolls that will talk and will go for a walk is the hope of Janice and Jen; And Mom and Dad can hardly wait for school to start again. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go; There’s a tree in the grand hotel, one in the park, as well, the sturdy kind that doesn’t mind the snow. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, soon the bells will start. And the thing that will make them ring, is the carol that you sing, right within your heart. Oh there’s no place like home for the holidays ‘cause no matter how far away you roam. When you pine for the sunshine of a friendly gaze for the holidays you can’t beat home sweet home. If you want to be happy in a million ways for the holidays you can’t beat home sweet home. I’ll be home for Christmas, you can plan on me. Please have snow and mistletoe and presents on the tree Christmas Eve will find me where the love light gleams. Oh I’ll be home for Christmas if only in my dreams. Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock, jingle bell swing and jingle bells ring Snowin’ and blowin’ up bushels of fun, now the jingle hop has begun. Giddy-ap, jingle horse pick up your feet, jingle around the clock. Mix and mingle in a jinglin’ beat, that’s the jingle bell, that’s the jingle bell, that’s the jingle bell rock. Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul with a corn cob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal. Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say, He was made of snow but the children know how he came to life one day. There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found. For when they placed it on his head he began to dance around. Frosty snowman, he hurried on his way, But he waved goodbye sayin’, “Don’t you cry, I’ll be back again some day.” Thumpety thump thump thumpety thump thump look at Frosty go. Thumpety thump thump thumpety thump thump over the hills of snow. Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer had a very shiny nose and if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names they never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas eve, Santa came to say, Rudolph with your nose so bright, won’t you guide my sleigh tonight? Then how the Reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee: Rudolph the rednosed reindeer, you’ll go down in history! Oh the weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful, And since we’ve no place to go, let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! It doesn’t show signs of stopping and I bought some corn for popping. The lights are turned way down low, let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! When we finally kiss goodnight, how I’ll hate going out in the storm! But if you’ll really hold me tight, all the way home I’ll be warm. The fire is slowly dying and my dear we’re still goodbyeing, But as long as you love me so let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nippin’ at your nose, Yuletide carols being sung by a choir and folks dressed up like eskimos. Ev’rybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe help to make the season bright. Tiny tots with their eyes all a glow will find it hard to sleep tonight. They know that Santa’s on his way; he’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh. And ev’ry mother’s child is gonna spy to see if reindeer really know how to fly. And so, I’m offering this eimple phrase to kids from one to ninety two. Although it’s been said many times many ways, Merry Christmas to you. We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a merry Christmas, We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year!
